Somni Tales is a service of Somni Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Somni”, “we”, “us”). By using Somni Tales you agree to these terms.
Somni Tales is an interactive storytelling experience: an AI narrates a story set in a chosen world, and you decide what happens next. Stories are generated and may vary each time.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where your local law sets a higher minimum for online services) to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use Somni Tales and make purchases only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. Kids-safe mode is a content setting for family reading — it does not change these age requirements.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information when signing up.
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing, or abusive activity, and no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Somni Coins are one-time digital credits — no subscription. Somni Coins never expire and are spent across any story as you play. Purchases are processed securely by Stripe; for certain purchases Stripe acts as the merchant of record.
Somni Coins are a limited licence to use features of the service — not property, currency or a stored-value instrument. They have no cash value outside Somni Tales, cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged with other users, and cannot be redeemed for money except as described under Refunds. Free and promotional Somni Coins (welcome bonuses, referral rewards and similar) are granted at our discretion, are not refundable for money, and may be adjusted or revoked in cases of abuse.
Unused Somni Coins are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Somni Coins already spent on story turns are non-refundable, as the digital content has been delivered. By completing a purchase you consent to immediate delivery of digital content. To request a refund, use Contact — we reply within 2 business days.
Underlying books, films and series belong to their respective owners; Somni Tales generates original, personal-use playthroughs inspired by the world you choose — no original text is reproduced. You are responsible for the works you request. Your saved stories are for your personal, non-commercial use.
If you send us feedback — including ratings and the optional quotes offered at the end of a tale — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it to improve and promote the service. We publish a quote on the site only when you have ticked the consent box; we may shorten it, and we attribute it anonymously unless we agree otherwise. You can ask us to remove a published quote at any time via Contact.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms — including fraud, payment abuse, attempts to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or abuse of promotional bonuses. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. If we terminate your account for reasons other than your breach, we will refund your unused purchased Somni Coins. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time via Contact.
If you believe material on Somni Tales infringes your copyright, send a notice with the details to info@somni.org. We review all notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. Generated content may be inaccurate or unexpected.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you a non-waivable right to bring the claim at home.
